How should I keep my glasses clean?
On a day to day basis, glasses can be cleaned with the microfiber that is typically supplied when you first purchased your glasses. Glasses can also be cleaned using mild soap (such as a dish soap) and warm water. You can also use a wet cotton or soft cloth to clean, rubbing the lenses and frames with your fingertips in a circular motion. Finally, dry the glasses gently with a chamois or a soft cotton towel in straight motion (AllAboutVision.com).
What is a microfiber wipe?
Microfiber is a synthetic fiber that is finer than one denier or thread, smaller than the diameter of a strand of silk. The most common types of microfibers are made from polyesters, polyamides, or a conjugation of polyester, polyamide, and polypropylene
Microfiber is used in many apparel, upholstery, industrial filters, and cleaning products. The shape, size, and combinations of synthetic fibers are selected for softness, toughness, absorption, water repellency, electrostatics, and filtering capabilities.
Microfiber cloths are also used to clean lenses photographic lenses, as they absorb oily matter without being abrasive or leaving a residue. Smaller microfiber cleaning cloths are also commonly used for cleaning computer screens and eyeglasses.
