How to change from Celsius to Fahrenheit

  1. Press and hold the SET button for 2 seconds until the screen displays F1.
  2. Press + to alternate between Celsius and Fahrenheit setting.

How to take temperature

  1. Press measuring switch to take the thermometer out of standby mode. The screen should be lit green before taking a temperature.
  2. Point the thermometer towards the forehead of the individual whose temperature is being taken and press the measuring switch. Make sure thermometer is within an inch of the individual to ensure an accurate reading.
