Epinephrine is eligible for reimbursement with a prescription with flexible spending accounts (FSA), health savings accounts (HSA), and health reimbursement accounts (HRA). Epinephrine is not eligible for reimbursement with dependent care flexible spending accounts (DCFSA) and limited-purpose flexible spending accounts (LPFSA).

How does epinephrine work to treat anaphylaxis?
Epinephrine, when used to treat anaphylaxis, is typically found in a one-dose administration shot, called an Epipen. Once a person begins to notice they are having an allergic reaction, they should administer the dosage of the Epipen into the middle outer-side of the thigh.
Once injected, the epinephrine works to reverse the life-threatening symptoms of an allergic reaction by reducing swelling, relaxing the muscles in the airways and tightening the blood vessels (Everyday Health).
A prescription from a medical professional is needed to make epinephrine eligible for reimbursement.
