The strips provide a fast, convenient way of testing urine for the presence and concentration of acetoacetic acid (ketone). Acetoacetic acid can be found in the urine from diabetics and can alert you and your doctor to changes in your condition which may require changes to your diet and/or medication.

No problems on the part of the sticks, I am not using them for their intended purpose, so its a little too ambiguous for my use. I would like it if FSA store would sell blood ketone monitor.
